This aggressive fight ended by opening of the siege after directing several regiments of fighters of PMF from southern Iraq to support the people of Amerli. This victory was nucleus to form the first Turkmen force in Iraq, which is then called the Turkmen PMF , who then contributed in many fierce battles in Tikrit, Beiji, Jurf Al Sakhr, Kirkuk and Mosul, the blood of Turkmen fighters is in every part of Iraq.

Targeting of Turkmen fighters by the terrorist gangs has not stopped over the past years, and in defense of Iraqi territory caravans carrying the Turkmen martyrs have not stopped too.
